Lol so there I was. Mining in my hulk in a system with no station. There was another hulk in the area but he was mining a different ore so I didn’t think he would mind the company. I mine for a while, popping rocks left and right. Eventually have to move away from my jet can far enough to have to jettison another one. So I bookmark both my cans, eventually tiring of the loneliness of mining solo. I go and get my hauler (a piddly bestower). After filling my hull, I see that I am going to have to make several trips to haul everything. I decide the best thing to do would be to warp to safespot, drop my cans and get a buddy with a better hauler to come get the stuff. On my last trip back to the belt, I notice the hulk was gone and his two cans were there. So I hurry up and bookmark his cans and run back to my safespot for the last drop off of “my ore”. I warp to his cans and after a few trips, I had them almost empty. At some point I became annoyed at how many bookmarks I had and decided to clean them up (lame. when a can pops I wish it would delete the bookmark). By now you can probably see where this is going. Yes, I deleted the bookmark to my “safe spot”. LOL. Oh well, I’m not seasoned enough yet on the scanning to find my spot. Oh well. That poor miner is going to have a surprise.

I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do in EVE until my first pirating experience. Seasoned players know that EVE is so vast that there are literally thousands of different types of interactions you can have with people so I am well aware that this “pirating” experience is very basic, but judging from my heartrate during the encounter, I have definately chosen the right profession.

So there I was, in my Iteron. Bouncing from belt to belt looking for some ore to steal…. I didn’t really know what would happen if someone engaged me, I was pretty sure I could warp out easily, I mean I’m in an iteron I, it can’t hold much and aligns pretty fast. So I find someone jet can mining. I book mark the can and jump out. Warp back to the can and he’s gone. Lol. Now I’m thinking he spotted me and went to get a pvp ship. crap. lol. My heart was racing. I filled up my hull (was suprised I couldn’t fit the whole thing in there since he only had like 56k ore, but I think I got about 36k of it or so). I warp back to a dock and then back to it. He’s back and the can is gone. I’m not savvy enough (see what I did there?) to know what ship he was in, I just warped out. He opens chat.

Him: Did you steal my stuff?
Me: Never
Him: Then why are you flashy red on my screen
(I’m realizing he’s nub at this point)
Me: Got in a fight a minute ago and got concorded. Am running from police.
Him: Ahhhh

LOL I love it. Might not be the most effecient way to make money, but it sure is fun. LOL.
